GETTING HERE..

By now, you have hopefully all bought your tickets and you know how to get to Tallinn. Now for some additional information about the time and venue.

The seminar will take place in the City Hotel Portus http://www.tallinnhotels.ee/city-hotel-portus-tallinn.
We expect you to arrive by 19.30 the latest on 21st of May. The check-in starts at 14.00, but if you arrive earlier, you can still leave your luggage there and go explore the city on your own. The first common dinner will take place at 18.00 in the hotel and after that you will have time to get to know each other with the help of our trainers. The activity takes place at the conference centre, in the conference room hamed Flint from 19.30-21.00.

Departure is planned on 24th of May after lunch, which is at around 14.00.
If you decide to come to Tallinn earlier / stay in Tallinn longer, please, be sure that you a). agree on this with your sending National Agency; b). find a proper accommodation (see some tips here http://www.hostel.ee/ ) and organise your extra stay on your own expenses.

Arriving to the hotel  

By plane
If you arrive by plane, the easiest way to get to the hotel is to use public transport. Tickets can be bought from R-kiosk, which will be at the far end of the airport terminal on your right hand side when you come through the security doors. The ticket price is 1 EUR. You can also buy a ticket from the driver in the bus, but then you will be charged 1.60.

The airport’s bus stop is located just in front of the Arrivals terminal (it is really tiny place, so you will not get lost!). Take the bus Nr 2 (direction „city center/harbour“; leaves after every 20 minutes) and get off at „Reisisadam D-terminal“. You will find yourself in the parking lot of Tallinn Harbour. The hotel (City Hotel Portus) is just on the edge of the parking lot. It has a big sign on it, so you can’t miss it. You can also use the Airport Shuttle bus. Tickets for the shuttle, which costs 5 euros, can be bought in the area of arriving flights, at the desk with Airport Shuttle flag. There is no fixed timetable. Shuttles start at 12 a.m. and they will meet every arriving flight. Airport Shuttle leaves the airport 15 minutes after the first passenger has entered the shuttle or when the shuttle is full of passengers. The bus takes you everywhere you want in Tallinn, you just need to know the address.

By bus
If you arrive by bus, the easiest way to get to the hotel is to use public transport. Tickets can be bought from R-kiosk, which is located at at the bus station building, left hand side from the main entrance. The ticket price is 1 EUR. You can also buy a ticket from the driver in the bus, but then you will be charged 1.60.
When you exit the bus station from the main door you will see the tram stop ca 200 meters from the bus station right in front of you. Near the tram stop, you can also see a bus stop called „Autobussijaam“. Take the bus nr 2 direction „city center/harbour“ (it goes down the hill) and get off at „Reisisadam D-terminal“. You will find yourself in the parking lot of Tallinn Harbour. The hotel is just on the edge of the parking lot. It has a big sign on it, so you can’t miss it. In case you want to take the risk of missing the important cultural experience of public transportation you can always take a taxi to the hotel.
